A Day of Creativity, Collaboration, and a Little Bit of Magic
There’s something really special about getting in a room (or in this case, a park full of trees and golden light) with another creative who just gets it—and that’s exactly what this branding session felt like.
I recently teamed up with Tiana from Shutter Dreams Photography for a collaborative branding shoot, and honestly… it was everything I love about this industry wrapped into one afternoon.
WHEN BRANDS COME TOGETHER
We wanted this session to reflect both of us—our individual styles and what it looks like when we come together as creatives. So we leaned into two different vibes:
- Our personality looks – the outfits that feel the most us
- Our brand looks – classic, clean, and cohesive with our logos
For my look, I went full me—burnt orange flared jeans, a dark brown ribbed bodysuit, and my glasses with the black and white stars on the side. Very alternative, very cozy, very on-brand.
Tiana absolutely showed up with her outfit too—she wore a cow print mini skirt, a burgundy long sleeve top, knee-high brown boots, and topped it off with a brown flat brim hat. It was giving western-chic meets modern creative, and I was obsessed.
Then we switched into our matching branding vibe—blue jeans and our logo tees—keeping things simple and timeless while still representing our businesses.
A SPECIAL GUEST PHOTOGRAPHER
One of my favorite parts of the entire session?
My 10-year-old daughter joined us—and not just as a helper, but as a photographer.
She’s been showing interest in photography, and this felt like the perfect opportunity to let her step into that role. She took photos of both of us in our different looks, and seeing her behind the camera, learning and creating, was such a proud moment for me.
There’s something really full-circle about building a creative business while watching your child start to explore that same passion.
MORE THAN JUST PHOTOS
Of course, we couldn’t leave without making some TikToks too—because documenting the behind-the-scenes and the why matters just as much as the final images.
This session wasn’t just about getting content. It was about connection, creativity, and building something bigger.
Tiana and I are so excited to start collaborating more—especially with styled shoots in the future. We both bring different perspectives and ideas to the table, and together, we can create something truly unique.
WHAT THIS MEANS MOVING FORWARD
This is just the beginning.
More collaborations.
More creativity.
More opportunities to create magic—not just for ourselves, but for our clients too.
